A late 13th century two leaf bifolio from a Latin Vulgate Bible produced by a Parisian Atelier, dating from roughly 1275. These leaves come from the Book of Genesis and Exodus.
This leaf is written on vellum in black ink, with an early Gothic script in two columns from both the front and back side. There are three Lombard style rubricated spring plant initial in red and blue, with extensively decorated vines and spring work in blue and red.
This manuscript bears the provenance of Marvin L. Colker, later sold in the London collection at Christies.
These leaves are written in a two-column, 46-line format.

This manuscript is in fair shape, with considerable wear and worming to the margins, which has surprisingly not impacted text. There is some staining.
