A late 13th century pair of leaves taken from the Martyrologium Hieronymianum (a list of Christian martyrs in calendar order), written in Latin, and in an early gothic textura script. There are several red initials, and early usage of Arabic Numerals.

These leaves were once used as binder’s waste, likely as pastedowns.

These leaves are written in a 33-line format.

Two leaves on parchment, 34.6 x 23; 34 x 22.6 cm

These leaves are in good shape, with rubbing and wear to the parchment. There are several small wormholes, obscuring several letters of text. One side to each leaf is worn, with some text loss.
