Two 12th century leaf fragments, taken from some type of liturgical manuscript, written in Latin, and produced in Germany, in a late Carolingian-Gothic (Proto-Gothic) script. There are several words written in red ink. The fragments do appear to connect to each other, matching with the text.
These manuscripts were once used as binder’s waste, saved from a bookbinding.
These manuscripts fragments are written in a 7 and 4-line format.

These manuscripts are in good shape, with some rubbing and wear to the binding, and small, old tears to one fragment, with several letters obscured.
