A mid 17th century edition of the Holy Bible Containing the Old Testament and The New, Newly Translated Out of The Original Tongues: and with the former Translations diligently Compared and Revised by his Majesties Special Command, being the KJV version published by John Field. There are two title pages, the first bearing engraved images of London, as well as Aaron and Moses.
There is contemporary red ruling by hand throughout.
This volume most recently belonged to the library collection of Mulberry House, a former rectory of High Ongar church.

This volume is in good shape, with rubbing and wear to the binding, notable the spine and hinges, with a bit of leather loss to the head of the spine. Several pages in Deuteronomy and Joshua are heavily stained. There is otherwise scattered soiling throughout.
