A late 18th century pair of volumes containing the Holy Bible, both with the Old and New Testaments, as well as the Psalms of David in English Metre. This is the Kerr imprint.
There are several early ownership inscriptions, the oldest being dated 1804.
These volumes most recently belonged to the library collection of Mulberry House, a former rectory of High Ongar church.
Two volumes in octavo, A12-U12, X12-Pp6+A12-C12
These volumes are in good shape, with rubbing and wear to the bindings, and the front hinge of volume one cracked and split. The first and last leaves to both volumes have some soiling and staining, and several leaves have dogeared corners. There is some marginal soiling and browning throughout.
