A mid 19th century edition of The Holy Bible Containing the Old and New Testaments, With copious marginal readings and reference texts. This is a rather rare provincial Coldstream imprint.

There is an early ownership inscription, dated 1868, for one Mary L.

This volume most recently belonged to the library collection of Mulberry House, a former rectory of High Ongar church.

This volume has been finely bound in full leather, with gilt embossing.

This volume is in very good shape, with minor rubbing and wear to the binding, heaviest to the hinges and corners. The first few leaves are frayed and stained to the margins, and the gutter is cracked and exposed at the beginning, with a crude repair noted. There is very little soiling throughout.
