A mid 18th century edition of the Holy Bible, containing the Old and New Testaments, newly translated out of the original tongues, and with the former translations diligently compared and revised, being printed by A. Kincaid. This is the first volume of two, beginning with Genesis, and ending with Isaiah.
There is an early 19th century ownership inscription for one Margaret G.
This volume most recently belonged to the library collection of Mulberry House, a former rectory of High Ongar church.
One finely bound volume in 32mo (13.2 x 7.2 cm), A12-AA12
This volume is in fair shape, with rubbing and wear to the binding, the hinges being cracked. Several leaves at the beginning are heavily worn, and two leaves from Genesis are detached. Several quires are shaken but holding. There is some foxing and soiling throughout.
