Title: Tabularum Seu Nuptiarum Notularum, 1464. Chronological Manuscript Index, Possibly France
A mid 15th century chronological manuscript index, possibly for weddings, as the title indicates, dated 1464, likely produced in France. The script is written in a medieval bastard script, with some ornate initials, in brown ink.
The manuscript is lacking a number of leaves, originally numbering 105 total.
One vellum bound manuscript in quarto, 88 leaves
This manuscript is in fair shape, with some rubbing and old staining to the binding. The first leaf is heavily damaged, with portions lacking to the center. Several leaves have some worming tracks, with several other leaves torn. There is browning and staining throughout, with some of the ink smudged or faded, and some old mold spores. The last quire of three leaves is detached.
