An early 19th century manuscript, titled On War Equipment. It may be copied after the famous Koyo Gunkan (Military Mirror of Kai Province), which was a series of texts on the art of War. This is only the second volume but still contains various illustrations and instructions pertaining to different military contraptions, objects to direct commands, and gear, such as a military fan to direct troops, a conch shell to act as a war battle horn, a drum to boost troop morale, and more.

This manuscript is in very good shape, with soiling and old worming to the covers. There are a few small wormholes throughout.
