An extremely scarce early 17th century edition of the collected sermons of French Catholic theologian and Dominican Guillaume Pepin, being three parts in four volumes. The copperplate engraving of the author, and the last index leaf are lacking to the first volume.
The copperplate portrait and the last index leaf are missing to volume three.
These volumes have been bound in blind stamped pigskin over wooden boards. There are tooled images of God the Father and Jesus to the center of the front covers, and an image of what looks to be the Last Supper to the rear covers. There are roll stamped border icons. Two volumes have three of four working clasps, with Pars Aestivalis lacking clasps.
These volumes bear the stamp of the dissolved monastery library Franziskaner Kloster Dettelbach.
