A Meiji to Taisho Period, late 19th to early 20th century painting album, dubbed Nara-Gaki, or Picture sof Nara’s Landmarks. As the title would entail, the album contains ten large ink wash paintings of famed landmarks and sites in Nara, with beautiful landscapes and temple scenes, and two additional paintings of numerous deer and Shrine Maidens, or Miko.
The paintings have been laid down and bound in album format, with brocade decorated covers of blue against flowering designs. There is also a slipcase.

This album is in very good shape, with minimal rubbing and wear to the binding. There is very little foxing, and very light staining throughout.
