An early 14th century Medieval Period charter, written in French, handwritten on parchment. The manuscript is written in an early secretary hand, with a beautiful, detailed initial and header at the beginning, and a large, detailed signum at the end.
The manuscript is the will of the cleric Guillaume de Rueil (Ruolio) who has bequeathed his possessions to the abbey St-Martin-des-Champs and the priest of St-Nicolas-des-Champs
This charter is written in a 28-line format.

This manuscript is in very good shape, with browning to the parchment, and two small holes to the manuscript, with only one hole obscuring several letters. Some words of text are faded.
