Condition: Very Good

A late 13th century Medieval Period charter, written in French, handwritten on parchment. The manuscript has been written in an early secretary hand.

The manuscript is a sale by Jean Begue, known as Compoins, valet of King Philip III, to the Chapter of Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois, the land tax he had on a house on rue Saint-Honoré in Paris.

This charter is written in a 17-line format.

One manuscript on parchment, 16 x 25.3 cm

This manuscript is in very good shape, with minor staining to the parchment. There is a small piece of paper pasted where a seal may have been.
