A mid 17th century edition of the Poetical Works of Baroque Poet Martin Opitz, containing the sacred and secular poems revised and improved by the author himself to the last.
The 2nd title, and quires L-O of the 3rd part are lacking.
Three books bound into two vellum volumes in 16mo, (24)+394, 336, 240 (of 323) pages
These volumes are in good shape, with minor rubbing and wear to the binding, and cracking to the rear hinge of the second volume. There is very light foxing and staining throughout.
