A late 18th century edition of the London Almanack for the Year of Christ, 1793. The calendar provides the times of sunrise and sunset, as well as various saints' days and term times for academic institutions. There is also a table providing the reigns of the kings and queens of England and Great Britain, from William the Conqueror to George III, a list of Lord Mayors and Sheriffs from 1772 to 1793, a list of bank holidays, and conversion rates for various coinage. One engraving is lacking, being that of 'The New House of Correction for the County of Middlesex'.
This almanac is in the original tooled morocco binding, with a slipcase.
One volume in 64mo (5.7 x 3.4 cm), 20 pages
This volume is in very good shape, with some rubbing and wear to the binding and slipcase, and the gutters exposed at the beginning. There is some foxing throughout.
