A mid 18th century edition of the Loves of Ismene and Ismenias, imitated from the Greek of Eustathius by de Beauchamps. Additionally, bound is a mid 18th century edition of the Affections of Various Lovers, made and collected by Parthenius of Nicaea.

This copy is present in a red morocco binding, with gilt tooling to the corners, edges, and spine. There are gilt page edges.
Two works finely bound into one volume in 12mo, (VIII)+96, (16)+72 pages
On note of condition, this volume is in good shape, with minor rubbing and wear out the binding, and cracking to the rear hinge, though the joints are still holding strong. There is very little foxing or staining throughout.
