An early 17th century edition of Homer's Iliad: written in Greek, with a Latin verbatim translation by Marcus Aemilius Portus, Franciscus Portus of Crete, which he, following his father's commentaries accurately, has purged from innumerable errors: with a further two poems, the abduction of Helen by Coluthus and the destruction of Tryphiodorus Ilius.

This volume is in very good shape, with minor rubbing and wear to the binding. The first and last leaves are heavily worn. There is very little foxing or staining throughout.
