An early Taisho Era reprint of Masanobu’s Ehon Ogura no nishiki. Also known as The Brocade of Ogura, this work was first published in 1740, with this edition containing all five volumes in one book.
This work is illustrated throughout, with reproductions of the original full-page woodblock print illustrations on nearly every page. A text on fuzuko, or manners, this work predominantly features women of Edo Era Japan, displaying various manners and customs.
Five volume in one quarto, 102 leaves
This volume is in very good shape, with very little rubbing or wear to the binding, and minor foxing to the covers. There is some foxing throughout.
