A late 17th century edition of Nadasi’s Day of Divine Love, or the golden day of divine love, distributed among the hours and various occupations undertaken by the nod and command of the same divine love, and illustrated by the prayers of the saints.
A Hungarian Jesuit, Janos Nadasi was born in Tyrnau and a graduate of the famous Jesuit College there. He was an extremely successful author of devotional literature.
This volume has been bound in blind stamped pigskin over wooden boards. There are tooled decorations to the center of the covers. There are roll stamped border icons. Remnants of the clasps are present.

This volume is in very good shape, with half the volume covered in old water stains and red shading. There is some toning and minor foxing throughout. The binding is splayed.
