A late 16th century edition of Dante’s Divine Comedy, his famed poetical narrative, originally written in the early 14th century, being the second edition printed by Guglielmo Rouillio. This edition is illustrated with 3 full-page woodcuts, each depicting Hell, Purgatory, and Paradise, and there is an additional woodcut portrait of Dante.

This volume is in good shape, with minor rubbing and wear to the binding. There is heavier foxing and staining to the first and last handful of leaves, and a very small chunk lacking to the outer margin up to page 17. There is some staining throughout.
