A late 16th century edition of the complete sermons and writings of the Dominican friar, theologian, and mystic Louis of Granada.
All four volumes have been bound in blind stamped pigskin over wooden boards. Volumes 2 and 4 have been uniformly bound, with a binder’s initials and the date that the binding was executed to the covers as well.

On note of condition, these volumes are in fair to very good shape, with rubbing, wear, staining, and worming to the binding of volume 1, minor rubbing, wear, and staining to the bindings of volumes 2 and 4, and rubbing, wear, staining, and cracking to the binding of volume 3, notably to the front joints. There is foxing and toning throughout volume 1, with minor worming throughout, though without major loss of letters. Volumes 2 and 4 only bear signs of minor foxing and staining throughout. Volume 3 has minor foxing and heavier toning throughout, with the first 50 pages more foxed and stained, and the title page heavily damp stained.
