A late 18th century edition of Meusy’s historical, dogmatic and moral catechism of the principal festivals. The text contains the history and theological foundations of each Catholic holiday, followed by questions and answers on each theme. Meusy exposes, when appropriate, the differences of opinion as to the origin of certain festivals. French ascetic writer, and vicar in Franche-Comte, Meusy first published this work in 1771; which went through several editions over the next century.

On note of condition, this volume is in very good shape, with light rubbing and wear at the boards, with toned pages and little to no foxing or staining through.
