An early 19th century German edition of the Holy Bible, containing both the Old and New Testaments according to Martin Luther’s famous translation. This edition is additionally bound with an evangelical hymn book.
This volume is finely bound, with gauffering at the page edges, detailed work on the binding, and uniquely two different sets of colorful endpapers, giving off a sense of nature with seeds and leaves against yellow for the first set, and red flower designs against yellow and green for the second.. Both clasps are present with flowering designs.

On note of condition, this volume is in very good shape, with light rubbing and wear at the corners, joints, and spine. There is some foxing throughout.
