An extremely scarce early 16th century edition of Vivaldus’ Golden Work of the Truth of Consecration in Which the Wonderful Documents of Eternal Salvation Are Opened, a treatise on grief and repentance, written by the Dominican theologian. The large woodcut device of Dude can be seen to the title. There is gauffering to the fore edge.
One vellum bound volume in 12mo, CLII+(25) leaves
This volume is in very good shape, with minimal rubbing and wear to the binding. There is a small hole to the title page obscuring several letters. There is some staining to the margins. The binding is splayed.
