A mid 17th century second edition of Hammond’s Paraphrase and Annotations Upon all the Books of the New Testament, briefly explaining all the difficult places thereof. These have been corrected and expanded upon from the first edition.
There is an armorial bookplate for one Sir John Kennaway, Baronet and Esquire.
This volume most recently belonged to the library collection of Mulberry House, a former rectory of High Ongar church.
This volume has been finely bound in a quarter leather binding.

This volume is in very good shape, with some rubbing and wear to the binding, heavier to the corners. The bottom corners of the first few pages are frayed. There is some soiling and staining to the lower right corner, those corners being more worn.
