Condition: Very Good
A manuscript leaf from a late 13th century manuscript edition of the Glossae Sacrae Scripturae, also known as the Glosses of the Holy Scriptures. This leaf covers Esther 14 and Job 39.
The leaf is written in Latin, using a gothic book hand script, with two decorated three-line initials, and clearly looks to have been recovered from a binding.
This leaf is written in a 46-line, two column format.
One manuscript on parchment, 21.5 x 17 cm
This manuscript is in very good shape, with some browning and soiling to the vellum. Several words to the recto of the leaf are faded in spots.
