The manuscript is written in an elaborate script.
The manuscript is a quittance of payment in the form of 50 francs for Lord Godefroy Le Fèvre, Custodian of the Coffers of Duke Louis I of Orléans, the son of King Charles V, and younger brother of Charles VI. He was also an apothecary.
This manuscript is written in a 7-line format, with a faded signature at the end.
