A selection of manuscript leaves from a mid 15th century illuminated Book of Hours, inscribed in a cursive bastard gothic script, likely produced in a Paris workshop. The leaves are written in Latin, with numerous illuminated 1-line initials, and anywhere from 1 to 3 2-line initials against a red and blue background, with various line fillers, similarly illuminated.
To one or both sides of each leaf, is a beautiful border decoration, with flowers, leaves, and trawling vines among illuminated acanthus leaves.

These leaves are written in a 15-line format.

These leaves are in very good shape, with varying levels of toning and stretching to the vellum. There is scattered staining to each leaf.
