An early 18th century quartet of works, beginning with The Book of Common Prayer, and administration of sacraments, and other rites and ceremonies of the Church, according to the use of the Church of England: together with the Psalter or Psalms of David, pointed as they are to be sung or said in churches.
Following that is The Whole Book of Psalms, collected into English Metre, and then there is The New Testament of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Lastly, is a less common work bound in at the end, being A collection of Articles, Canons, Injunctions, etc, Together with Several Acts of Parliament, including those Concerning Ecclesiastical Matters
This volume most recently belonged to the library collection of Mulberry House, a former rectory of High Ongar church.
This volume has been bound in full contemporary leather, with Cambridge panel tooling in gilt.
