Condition: Good
A mid 17th century edition of The Holy Bible Containing the Old and New Testament, Newly Translated Out of The Original Tongues: and with the former Translations diligently Compared and Revised by his Majesties Special Command.
The Book of Common Prayer is incomplete, largely lacking quires A-C.
This volume has been bound in contemporary full leaves, with silver corner fittings, as well as one with a monogram in the centre, and there are clasp fittings as well, though the clasps are lacking.
This volume most recently belonged to the library collection of Mulberry House, a former rectory of High Ongar church.
Two works in one finely bound volume in 12mo, D12-M9, A12-Tt12
This volume is in good shape, with some rubbing and wear to the binding, and splitting to the upper and lower hinges. The two remaining leaves of quire C from the Book of Common Prayer are loosely tipped in, and the last leaf has been repaired crudely. Some of the quires to the Bible are shaken but still holding firmly. There is some yellowing and soiling throughout.
