A Late Meiji to Early Taisho Period, 19th to 20th century illustrated manuscript, colorfully depicting various Japanese Playthings and Toys, and accompanied by descriptors of what each toy is.
The work has been clearly influenced by Kawasaki Kyosen’s Omocha-shū, possibly even before his works were collected into printed format.
One manuscript in folio (28 x 20 cm), 36 pages
This manuscript is in good shape, with some light soiling to the covers, and well as a few tears and creases. There is minor foxing and staining throughout, with small tears to the folding illustration, and some crumpling to the pages.
