A Jōkyō Era, late 17th century edition of Shouken’s Kimyou Hongan Shou Genchuu, a commentary on Honorary Vows and Proverbs.
At the beginning of the first volume is a full-page woodblock illustration depicting Kannon, the Goddess of Mercy, standing atop a lotus flower.
Three volumes in quarto (26.1 x 19.5 cm), 51, 50, 40 leaves
These volumes are in very good shape, with minor rubbing and wear to the covers. There is very little foxing or staining throughout.
