A mid 17th century compilation of four Biblical and liturgical texts, bound together, beginning with A late 17th century duo of works, beginning with the Book of Common Prayer, and administration of sacraments, and other rites and ceremonies of the Church, according to the use of the Church of England.
Following that is The Genealogies Recorded in the Sacred Scriptures, which comes with a staggering 34 pages of engraved family trees, all delightfully shown in detail, and the first one bearing a large engraving of Adam and Eve at the center of their family tree.
Then there is a complete Barker edition of The Holy Bible containing the Old Testament and the New. Newly translated out of the originall tongues, and with the former diligently compared and revised, by his Maiesties speciall commandement.
Lastly, there is a copy of The Whole Book of Psalmes, collected into English Meeter, bound in at the end.
The Book of Common Prayer and Bible both have extra detailed engraved title pages.
This volume most recently belonged to the library collection of Mulberry House, a former rectory of High Ongar church.

This volume is in good shape, with rubbing and wear to the binding, and the hinges cracked. The BoCP title page is soiled and somewhat frayed at the margins. Leaves Dd4 and Dd5 of the Bible are stained, with a tear and some text loss. There is minor soiling and staining throughout.
