An early 19th century manuscript edition of the Life of Saint Nicholas of Myra, patron saint of sailors, merchants, archers, repentant thieves, children, brewers, pawnbrokers, toymakers, unmarried people, and students in various cities and countries around Europe. This manuscript was written sometime during the 1830s, being copied from an earlier, printed text, one written in Old French.
One finely bound manuscript in folio, 39 leaves
This manuscript is in very good shape, with minimal rubbing and wear to the binding. There is very little foxing or staining throughout.
