An extremely scarce early 19th century edition of the Almanac Dedicated to Ladies, for the year 1812. There are six engravings.
This volume has been bound in a decorated and ornate cartonnage binding of the period, with gilt decorating the edges. More significantly, the volume has been bound with silk designs pasted to the covers, displaying several cherubs, among other images.
The volume also comes in a slipcase, similarly decorated with silk to the covers and spine, displaying several more cherubs as well.

This volume is in very good shape, with very little rubbing or wear to the binding. There is some foxing throughout. The slipcase is somewhat faded and worn with age.
