A mid 20th century, compiled album of paintings from both Japanese and Korean artists, comprising of examples from the Joseon Dynasty, as well as Meiji to Showa Periods.

There are 11 beautifully produced pages of paintings, primarily done in ink wash style, subjects among which include Mt Fuji, and 19 pages of very fine calligraphy.

The paintings have been finely bound in album format, with decorated, brocade covers with swirld. The color is hard to determine, but I’ll just call it grey at this point.

One painting album in orihon format (30.2 x 21.3 cm), 15 leaves

This album is in very good shape, with minor wear and worming to the covers. There is very little ink staining throughout, only noted once or twice. There is very light worming to the first and last album leaves, and a bit of marginal staining to the last three leaves.
