Title: Theology Manuscript, Early 17th Century
Author: Joannis Froissardus
An early 17th century theology manuscript, written in Latin, in an extremely fine script, by one Joannis Froissardus.
This manuscript has been written in an incomprehensibly difficult script, with much of the script difficult to read, especially due to the ink stains and bleeding. There are numerous annotations in the margins, and several hand-drawn manicules.
One vellum bound manuscript in quarto, 247 leaves
This manuscript is in good shape, with rubbing and staining to the binding. As this manuscript has been written in iron gall ink, many pages have bled onto each other, with one page with a closed tear at the center. There are ink stains throughout, obscuring text. The pages are foxed and toned, with an odor to them. There is some light staining to the upper margins, not affecting text.
