Author: Alexandre Dumas
Publisher: George Routledge and Sons Limited, London
Condition: Very Good

A finely bound set of the Works of Alexander Dumas, containing several of his most notable works, from The Count of Monte Cristo, Twenty Years After, Chicot the Jester, and more. This is a mid 19th century edition. The Three Musketeers is missing.

Thirteen finely bound volumes in octavo, 632+632+438+759+429+501+442+392+506+374+298+690+402 pages

The full breakdown of pagination is as followed:

The Vicomte of Bragelonne, or Ten Years Later, Vol and 2, 632+632 pages
Marguerite de Valois, 438
The Count of Monte Cristo, 759 pages
The Countess de Charny, 429
Taking the Bastile, 501
The Forty-Five Guardsmen, 442
The Queen's Necklace, 392
Twenty Years After, 506
The Conspirators, 374
The Regent's Daughter, 298
Memoirs of a Physician, 690
Chicot the Jester, 402

On note of condition, these volumes are in very good shape, with slight chipping to two of the titles, and minor wear and scuffing along the edges and boards. The volumes themselves seem to have been stitched very close to the edge, resulting in the fore edges becoming somewhat uneven, though the bindings hold strong. There is virtually no foxing or staining present throughout.
