Author: Church of England
Publisher: London, Printed by Charles Bill, and the executrix of Thomas Newcomb
Condition: Very Good
An extremely uncommon early 18th century pocket edition of The Book of Common Prayer, together with the Psalms of David.
While Worldcat does record a considerable number of this edition in folio or quarto, there do not appear to be any recorded in this small size or recorded with the size notation mentioned.
This volume has been finely bound, with a tooled oxford panel to the covers, and gilt to the spine. The text is ruled throughout.
Two works finely bound in 32mo, 87 leaves
On note of condition, this volume is in very good shape, with minor rubbing and wear to the binding, and stress to the hinges, with some chipping to the foot of the front hinge. One leaf has had its margins shorn, with slight letter loss near the bottom. There is minor foxing throughout.
