Born in the first year of Genroku, he was the eldest son of Oishi Yoshio, leader and member of the 47 Ronin of Ako in Harima.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';\"\u003eIn 1701, the lord of the domain, Asano Naganori, committed seppuku. During the raid on Kira Yoshinaka’s residence, Chikara led the attack on the back gate. After the incident, he was entrusted to the Matsudaira family of the Iyo Matsuyama domain and committed seppuku on February 4, 1703.
