An extremely scarce mid 19th century edition of Shakespeare's Garden: or the plants and flowers named in his works described and defined.
This work is bound in a Florentine-style vellum binding, with hand painted flowering designs and lettering to the front cover, ornate leather stitching to the covers, and yapp edges. The original leather straps are still present.
One hand-painted vellum bound volume in 12mo, 172 pages
On note of condition, this volume is in very good shape, with minor rubbing and wear to the stitching, and the faint remnants of the leather straps noted. There is virtually no foxing or staining throughout.
