The son of Kano Tanboku, he succeeded his father as head of the Kajibashi Kano family. Engaged in the creation of folding screen paintings presented to Korean dignitaries and representatives, as well as other works. In 1825, he became of Hokan, or Buddhist pries, in 1825.
