An early 19th century set of historical cards, containing an abridgment of the history of the French monarchy, from Pharamond to the establishment of the Republic, decorated with the portraits of 66 Kings, engraved after the best medals, and intended for the instruction and fun for the youth of both sexes.
Each card bears a medallion portrait of a king and accompanied by a written description. The playing cards are present with the original box.
