A mid 19th century edition of Forster’s Informative and fun scenes, or Fireside trips, containing several voyages from Russia, Egypt, and more. Two handwritten leaves have been inserted after page 80, with one on the Delicacies of Tananarive.
This edition is bound in a brilliantly decorated and ornate cartonnage binding of the period, with blue against golden gilt.

On note of condition, this volume is in very good shape, with minor rubbing and wear at the boards. There is little to no foxing or staining throughout.
