Title: Repertoire de chansons et monologues, 1908
Author: Gustave Le Gloanec
Condition: Poor

A manuscript repertoire of songs and monologues, containing numerous pieces of handwritten and sheet music with colorful borders, poetry, and monologs, along with several brightly colored original drawings.

This particular manuscript was written and illustrated by Gustave Le Gloanec, a Soldier at the 118th Line 8e Cie, originally started May 10, 1908.

There are 17 drawings of various figures and size, along with three extravagant border illustrations. Personal favorites would be one incredibly unique interpretation of Joan of Arc, a winged figure of the stars, and a topless performer brandishing a tambourine.

One manuscript in octavo, 255 of 278 numbered pages

On note of condition, this volume is in poor shape, with the binding heavily rubbed and worn, with the spine heavily peeled. Page 1 is detached, with pages up to page 163 detached in gatherings of various pages. Pages 117 to 140 are lacking. There is some foxing and staining throughout, with tears to several pages.
