Title: Observations upon the cities of London and Rome, 1687
Author: William Petty
Publisher: London, Printed for Henry Mortlocke
A late 17th century edition of Petty’s Observations upon the cities of London and Rome, being the appendix extracted from Petty’s Several essays in political arithmetic. This small pamphlet briefly mentions the Great Fire of London as well. Interestingly enough, this appendix was not always bound in with all copies of Petty’s complete work.
One disbound pamphlet in 12mo, (4)+4 pages
On note of condition, this pamphlet is in poor shape, with the final leaf detached. There is little to no foxing or staining throughout.
