An 1827 later printing of O'Meara's memoirs of Napoleon, deposed Emperor of France, during his exile on the island of St. Helena, where he lived out the last of his days before dying due to worsening health conditions. The first edition was published in 1822, this being a later edition printed 5 years afterwards.
Two volumes in 8vo, 512 and 552 pages.
On note of condition, both volumes are in fair condition, and while the binding is complete and the boards possess a unique pattern, the hinges show sign of weakening, and there are signs of staining and wear on the boards.
The pages also show some signs of foxing.
