There are 178 woodcuts in this particular edition by Virgil Solis who published numerous variants of Ovid's work, and also adapted a number of these mythological woodcuts from the French artist Bernard Saloman.
On note of condition, this volume has been nearly rebound in a lovely morocco style binding, with an extra shiny title plate. There is also some minor worming going throughout the entire volume, and some annotations scattered about.
