A finely colored and heavily detailed emaki-mono hand scroll, dating from the 19th century and the Edo Era, a map of Japan, and the outlying island regions. Numerous regions and cities are noted, with major cities highlighted. There are numerous markers on the map, with various towns and cities all labelled. There is also a legend to the bottom right side of the map.
One scroll on fine paper, 35 by 218 cm
On note of condition, this scroll is in good shape, with little to no rubbing or wear to the scroll cover. There is surface level worming to the map throughout.
