An extremely scarce early 17th century edition of Crouser’s Paraenetic Lessons of the Rule of the Seraphic Father St. Francis, in which many non-common documents are suggested for the formation of religious or other spiritual habits by sound documents.
The first two blank leaves are full of early notes on Crouser’s work.
This volume bears the stamp of the dissolved monastery library Franziskaner Kloster Pfreimd.
This volume has been bound in blind tooled pigskin over wooden boards, with roll stamped icons, and the tooled symbol of the Order of Jesuits at the center. There is one functioning clasp.
